Peter Feld, a.k.a. Ambitious Heckler, is a former campaign consultant and pollster who has worked at Democratic firms including Lake Research, Global Strategy Group, Frederick/Schneiders, and Peter D. Hart Research Associates.
Peter was director of research for the Paul Tsongas presidential campaign, and a Dukakis for President staffer. As Director of Custom Research at Conde Nast Publications, he conducted research for magazines including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Allure, Jane, Details, Traveler, Wired, and GQ, and worked closely on the launches of Teen Vogue, Men's Vogue, and Cookie (which he later joined as online editor). He has supervised focus group projects for the National Democratic Institute in Croatia, Montenegro and Kosovo, and taught political polling and strategy in NYU's graduate Political Campaign Management program. Peter holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and formerly edited the indie hip-hop magazine Mugshot.
